I posted on Vererans Day that my dad was 4F for WW2 in spite of multiple attempts to join up, and that he left his job to build warplanes to support the war effort. This little heart ring in the pic is something dad made for my mom out of airplane scrap metal. I wear it now. A memory of the two special people to me who were part of the greatest generation.
