Sure the first inclination is to be a bit put-off by these meetings President Trump is having with Mayor Mamdani. At the same time, consider this: Republicans / MAGA with functioning brain cells know there is no way Mamdani is going to rub off on Trump. The worst thing is the seemingly bad look, giving Mamdani some kind of credibility because of Trump’s desire to meet. On the other hand, the crazies on the left can’t be crazy about Mamdani spending quality time with the enemy.
