I hope I have it in me to write about my final Grand Canyon hike. I'm thinking about the people we lost and how life continues on. I wrote a poem after my first hike and it touched a few lives, including my sister's. She still has a framed copy on the wall in her living room. People couldn't imagine where and when I wrote it.
I think we lost more on the Gutters than Andrew, recently. It gets me thinking and realizing how precious our time is.
