Mark and I went for a hike at Shell Ridge Open Space in Walnut Creek today, and the weather felt tropical. Beautiful clouds and warm. It was absolutely beautiful!
I did, however, make the strategic decision to stay a good distance behind Mark—not because I needed the exercise, but because he was on the phone making a customer complaint. 😂. I think complaining, justified though, gives him a natural high.
I was there to enjoy the beautiful scenery, the fresh air, and this gorgeous protected open space. I had no interest in adding “listen to Mark complain” to my Friday itinerary.
Sometimes a little distance is good for a marriage. Especially when one person is on hold. 😂

Shame on you, my friend. We supported you, we loved your music and we celebrated your talent. You were one of us. You didnt let the left turn you into one of their celebrity assholes and you stood for what is right.
Now you boast about losing 300 pounds. Good for you. But let me tell you, you lost much more than that, sir. You lost your decency, your integrity and you lost the man who you tricked us into believing you were. Yes sir, thats what you did. You threw the baby out with the bath water.
