Pluto was officially reclassified from a ninth planet to a dwarf planet on August 24, 2006.
Why Pluto Changed Status
The Vote: The International Astronomical Union (IAU) voted during their General Assembly in Prague to adopt a formal scientific definition for a planet.
The Three Rules: To be a planet, a body must orbit the sun, have a round shape due to gravity, and have cleared its local orbital neighborhood of other debris.
The Missing Rule: Pluto is round and orbits the sun, but it shares its orbital zone in the Kuiper Belt with many other large, icy bodies and has not cleared its neighborhood, leading to its demotion

About 35 minutes from where we stay here in MT is Quinn’s Hot Springs. Established in 1885.

Quinn’s uses a volcanic hot springs to fill 7 pools of varying temps from 96F to 104.5F.
There are overnight accommodations and an excellent restaurant.

A National Park Service Trivial Tidbit
Sacagawea has the most statues dedicated to any American woman, according to the National Park Service.
Sacagawea is depicted in more statues than any other American woman, according to the National Park Service. The Shoshone woman is best known for accompanying Meriwether Lewis and William Clark on their historic expedition across the American West from 1804 to 1806. Sacagawea served as an interpreter and helped the explorers communicate with Native American tribes they encountered along the way. Today, numerous statues and monuments across the United States honor her role in one of the nation's most famous journeys

If you watched the Five the past 15 years, you'd heard perhaps unknowingly, the Cramps. I've played their songs hundreds of times, over the years - often my favorite songs of theirs repeatedly, hoping to create new fans of the greatest rock and roll band ever.
the band ended with Lux Interior's death - and since then most of the integral players have either expired or moved on. Guitarist Poison Ivy has led a fairly reclusive life, likely not getting much from the Cramps legendary status.
Maybe until now. Thanks to Henry Rollins - a massive Cramps fan - he's resurrected the Cramps old label Vengeance records, and released a collection of old songs from a late 70' studio session, done back during the recording of classic album "songs the lord taught us." Produced by Alex Chilton and done on a shoe-string in Memphis - its controlled madness. the record "Gravest Gravy" came out last week, so I picked up both digital and vinyl - knowing that Ivy is gunna see some of that dough.
