During his farewell speech, George Washington warned us against the rise of political parties. It was his belief that people could end up becoming more loyal to their party than they were to their state. Imagine that?

Last week was an example of his frightful prediction. In both chambers of Congress the Democrats refused to allow the legislative process to proceed before leaving for their extended July 4 holiday. A few Republicans had to join the Democrats in the House of Representatives but as a party the Democrats all stood together.

The reason why? The Democrat Party financing system is designed so that all of the party money can be controlled by a few leaders. They alone decide who is going to get the money. As a result, they have obtained the loyalty of all of the other party members in their house. Because of an investigation by the US attorney for the Southern District of New York, we are now learning that a significant part of the Democrat Party money comes from overseas communists seeking to influence the party. In other words, the largest political party in the United States is funded by foreigners who hate the USA and controlled by less than ten people.

The Republicans, on the other hand, have various leaders tied to a variety of their own political action committees (PACs). Some of the leaders, like Ted Cruz, lead a PAC that funds campaigns for numerous Representatives and several senators. Their loyalty is not necessarily to the party but to Ted. If Ted likes a piece of legislation he can guarantee many votes in both houses. Considering the two alternatives, the GOP is actually better, yet just as sleazy. The advantage, however, is that on the Republican side foreigners are not controlling our destiny.

If you or I try to tie our donations to specific votes, it is illegal. Members of the same political party as the politician being manipulated, however, are allowed to do it.

Amazingly, many Democrats are campaigning right now on the promise that for the next two years they will shut down the government legislative process so that no bills will get through Congress while President Trump is in office. Would you hire somebody who told you during the interview they did not intend to do their job?

We might as well just ask China how they want us to vote on different legislation. It would be easier than electing incompetent Democrats.

The current makeup of the Supreme Court was clear in the decision concerning birthright citizenship, Trump v. Barbara. The decision was 6-3, but only in the judgment. Justice Kavanaugh filed his own concurring opinion. Justices Alito, Gorsuch, and Thomas all filed descending opinions. Justice Roberts wrote the majority opinion. In total, all of the decisions were 194 pages.

After reading everything and several references cited in the opinions, I agree with the majority. It is one of those cases where I wish the law was different but if I was following the law, I would have voted with them.

More importantly, most Americans do not agree that this should be the law. The proper procedure would be for Americans to notify their congressmen and senators, badger them if necessary, to get a constitutional amendment passed. The states would easily ratify it. Illegal immigration costs the states much more money than it costs the federal government.

I have already notified both of my senators and most of the Florida delegation as well as the Republican National Committee that they need to get off their lazy asses and propose the amendment immediately after they return from their July 4 recess tomorrow. It would force the Democrats to get on the record and would actually help the Republicans win a substantial majority in the midterm election. If the GOP doesn’t do it, they have failed us. Please encourage your representatives to do the same thing and use strong language. If they don’t do it this month, they will not be able to get enough mileage out of it before the election. (Remember, Congress takes off all of August and all of October as well as most of September.)

West Virginia v. B.P.J. , was a bit of a surprise. Although there were a few separate opinions (77 pages total), I was surprised that all nine justices agreed that states had the right to limit participation in girls’ and women’s sports only to those people who were born female. Nice to see even the lefties recognize that there are only two real genders.

I am anxious to see what happens next year if they take a case regarding whether states can actually be prohibited from allowing men to play in women’s sports. There is a difference. Of course the difference is whether you want to live in America, on the left coast, or in the communist state of New York.

As mentioned above, the financing arrangements in the the two major political parties are quite different. In reality, it is a much more complicated structure. To take advantage of the difference, when Democrats controlled both houses of Congress and the presidency they amended the Federal Election Commission Act (FECA) to restrict a party’s spending in coordination with candidates. As strange as it sounds it actually severely hurt Republican candidates because the Democrats don’t coordinate; they have an authoritarian regime.

In National Republican Senatorial Committee v. Federal Election Commission, the Supreme Court agreed with the Republicans (6-3) and found that the FECA violated the First Amendment to the United States Constitution because it prevented a political party from communicating with the voters (free speech). Of course it did. As a result, in many of the hotly contested races this year the Republicans will be able to spend much more money to compete with the massive money the Democrat Party is pouring into those states and districts.

In other words, the Supreme Court helped level the playing field.

If you were shocked that the Democrat Party decided to change their Maine candidate for the United States Senate you must have been hiding under a bridge with Hillary Clinton during the 2024 election. Remember, it is the party that told the people in New Hampshire that they would only count their presidential votes if they voted for Joe Biden and told Iowa and Pennsylvania that their votes didn’t count. The Democrats Party IS a communist party.

I also think nobody was shocked to find out that the communists’ preferred Maine candidate, Graham Platner, had raped somebody. Joe Biden also had a rape ignored and was never prosecuted for stealing top-secret documents and selling them to the Chinese when he was a senator. Just like the 2024 election, once their preferred candidate was proven to be immoral, the D Party will produce somebody who is even worse (like they did with Kamala Harris). The members of their party will be denied the opportunity to vote on the candidate.

I encourage everybody to spend some time helping candidates this year. The least you can do is help them know what you want.
