They just had a news story about how people in the community will suffer because SNAP benefits will not be funded unless they reopen the government ASAP.
They showed these poor people getting that essential food. One had six boxes of Entenmann's mini cakes. Another had a six pack of 16 ounce Mountain Dew.
Essential foods. Yeah, right. I know some people legitimately need help, but there needs to be more restrictions on what you can and cannot buy with your SNAP benefits.
