Reference yesterday's The Five when they were talking about 24-hour diners nearing extinction:
I recall the Cheswick BBQ in Cheswick, PA and the Venus Diner in Allison Park, PA from my early drinking days. If I remember correctly, both suffered fires.
In Roy, UT by Hill AFB, we had Denny's in the late 1970s. It was pretty run down back then, and I think it is gone now.
When the Frau lived in Bordentown, NJ, in 1996, there was Mastori's Diner at the corner of US 130 and US 206 that had an awesome bakery. It closed due to COVID.
NJ used to have tons of great diners!
