My kitchen is officially getting a facelift and my temporary cooking situation is giving “camping with chandeliers” energy😜

Getting the house ready to have a few friends over to play cards later today. I'm realizing that our days of entertaining at home are probably coming to an end. With my husband's health issues and my surgery in Feb., we have just been getting by and our house is very "lived-in". It's hard to prep to have company anymore. I'm pulling it together, but as much as I like entertaining, it's getting to be too much. So much easier to meet at a restaurant. Such is life.
