Good Morning Gutter Friends! A very rainy, dreary Monday for my day off, but I am loving it nonetheless. Supposed to clear up in a few hours and it's going to be 91 degrees. We have a boy and girl monarch in the enclosure. I ran the idea by my husband this morning to keep them for a couple of weeks so they will mate. I read it takes 3 to 8 days for the female to be ready to lay eggs. Then I can throw some milkweed in there, and see if she lays her eggs, then release them. It seems kind of cruel to keep them though. We will see how it goes. Going to do some light grocery shopping and errands and then a light dinner with two friends I used to see every day at work but haven't seen in at least six weeks. Such is life. Have a great day!!
