Out of the mouth of elders
Spoke to my aunt yesterday morning. She said she made her pot of coffee, and has her blanket on the sofa excited to watch the inauguration.
Fast forward to this morning
I called this morning to see what she thought.
And to note, she’s almost 90 years young, and watched till 12:30 am.
Her response was that it felt like that day when WW2 ended. She remembers that day, and how everyone felt when they ran into the streets with joy.
She said it felt exactly the same way.
I thought it was wonderful, and worth sharing.
