Good morning, my much valued American cousins. I hope you are all well.
A beautiful mid-Spring day here in Great Yarmouth. The sun is up and it's already 20C, expected to rise to 24C by early afternoon. We have guests today, but with the weather forecast for tomorrow being much the same we'll probably spend a few hours at Gorleston cliffs and beach while we can.
I shall be disappearing quite suddenly as I was told by my consultant yesterday that I'm being fast-tracked for treatment. It might be as early as Monday, but certainly some time within the next fortnight.
When I had the whole body scan a couple of weeks ago the two cancers in my left lungs clearly showed... but so also did a cancer on my larynx, for which I was treated more than a decade ago.
