This ‘Old Vest’
First vest I bought when I bought my first Harley.
I wore it to 23 Rolling Thunder Rallies, wore it to Sturgis twice, and on the entire 6200 mile Cavalcade in 2022.
All of the patches ‘have meaning, but the eight most dear me are (not in order of importance);
Front:
The two Police Dept patches were the agencies where I was sworn officer.
The two military patches are the VAARNG units I served in- The ‘Stonewall Brigade’ (blue patch, a grey silhouette of Gen Jackson’s Bull Run statue), the 29th ID(L)
Yes, I earned the ‘EIB’ Expert Infantry Badge, not to be confused with the ‘CIB’ which looks the same but also has a wreathe. That’s for being in Combat.
I never was unless you count my time as an LEO.😂🤣😂🤣

My Three little girls - Three ‘Gold Award’ patches, the highest honor a Girl Scout can achieve, the equivalent of Eagle Scout.
The Prodigal - Eagle Scout patch,
I had to kick his ass to get it done.
Now it’s the accomplishment he’s most proud of. He still wears his Eagle Scout Belt.
I’m not wearing it but I’m taking it, there’s a shop where I’ve had my patches sewn on, and they repaired the collar once. It’s torn near the collar on the back. I’ve a denim patch for them to repair it.

I wasn't in jail, or getting a sex change, or getting a sex change in jail.
My wife gave birth last week to a delightful little girl named Mira.
so i've been off, basically running interference between the baby and a very inquisitive french bulldog. because the baby hasn't gotten her shots, we can't let the little guy near her. so i'm basically keeping him busy while wife does that "other" stuff. its been a surreal amazing experience. Being superstitious, we didnt want to tell anyone until the baby was born. I would write more here, but i am literally on 24 hour emergency assistance - when Elena wants something I have to get it, or I get tazed.
As for Mira, she's got her mothers looks, and her fathers dislike for Brian Kilmeade. I turned on fox and friends this morning, and she cried incessantly until i turned it to something less disturbing (Dexter).
my guess is, i'll probably be back to work in the new year, no later.
