Another example of why the moral decay of society hurts us all. We just had a 132% increase in the cost of our umbrella insurance this year. I called our insurer to see if this was a mistake. They said it was due to a significant increase in people filing lawsuits over traffic accidents in our state (most likely related to the Sturgis rally).
People think that suing others is only hitting the insurance company's bottom line. When, in fact, their "get rich quick" scheme is being paid for by the rest of us. 🙄
