About
Whether you know me from my publishing days, Red Eye, The Five, The Greg Gutfeld Show or that hot tub in TiaJuana - you know that my objective is to challenge the norm, expose hypocrisy and never take life too seriously and most importantly have fun. This and the desire to get off Twitter is the reason for The Gutter.
The Gutter - is meant to be positive.
If you don’t like someone I work with or one of my guests – fine, but express it somewhere else, not here.
I don’t have much in the way of rules, except for rejecting flippant negativity – and we will rely on both the community and our team to identify and remove it.
Remember, we are all doing our best.
The desire to be negative is natural – god knows – I am the biggest offender.
I am a hypocrite. I can be negative all the time, but I have an outlet.
You folks don’t. So, I understand TOTALLY the frustration you feel when watching a show. In fact, when you see me on the Five, you can see the frustration in my face at times!
But I say this all the time: conflict makes me a better host. Imagine how boring I would be if I wasn’t tested every day. I would be like Don Lemon or Chris Cuomo - vacuous vessels who’ve not worked their intellectual muscles in years.
So, I ask that when you’re here – it’s entirely natural to not like Joe Blow, or Jane Doe - but realize I am trying to escape that. The goal is an internal protected community where we can trust each other. And that’s why I’m here.
Having said that, I’m glad you’re here with me!
