I ask for your prayers for the next few days please. I heard from my sister, Jeanette. She knows I'm praying for them.
Sam, her son, is being moved to hospice today. They can't give him pain medicine because his red blood cells are so low from the leukemia, even with the transfusions, his breathing would be immediately compromised. His pain is unbearable from the flesh eating bacteria on his arm and leg. They think the leukemia actually helped bring on the bacteria.
Once he's at hospice, the transfusions will stop and pain meds will start. He doesn't have long. Jeanette is going through the hardest heartbreak of her life. She said Sam is being very brave. She's being brave also.
