Been busy and getting ready for some big doings...Getting ready for a visit tomorrow from my 91-year-old mom who I haven't seen since 2011 when I visited her on Long Island. I haven't felt this anxious since playing my first gig....OH MON DIEU !! Got my dates screwed up. She's arriving on Monday 9/30 not tomorrow....🙄😆

Yesterday, the dishonorable Senator Cassidy (R-LA) lost his primary very badly and has zero chance of re-election.
In Jan 2021, he voted to convict Trump in his second impeachment trial - the one that claimed DJT instigated an insurrection on Jan 6.
Seven Republican senators voted to convict, and now five have disappeared themselves from Congress. Only Collins and Murkowski remain. Here are the other four never-Trumpers who fell from grace:
- Mitt Romney (UT)
- Ben Sasse (NE)
- Richard Burr (NC)
- Matt Toomey (PA)
Louisiana has given us a couple of GOP gifts in the shape of John Kennedy and Mike Johnson, but good riddance to Cassidy.
