Been busy and getting ready for some big doings...Getting ready for a visit tomorrow from my 91-year-old mom who I haven't seen since 2011 when I visited her on Long Island. I haven't felt this anxious since playing my first gig....OH MON DIEU !! Got my dates screwed up. She's arriving on Monday 9/30 not tomorrow....🙄😆

DC court REJECTS Secrecy on January 6 Videos. DC Police wanted to charge @JudicialWatch $1.5 million to blur out virtually everyone on officer bodycam vids. Court says NO--public interest prevails! (We already caused release of US Capitol Police vids!)
I know I complain about living in the city, but today I feel blessed (I actually live on the edge of the city near O'Hare). Having Mondays off is so convenient for getting quick errands done and being close to everything is convenient. I hit the bank, gas station, mall, grocery store (just for fruit) in one hour. Now I'm back and can spend the afternoon with my husband. I did get some nice July 4th decorations from Hobby Lobby - they have a TON of stuff!! All made in China, of course. It's unavoidable and I'm just lumping it at this point. The flags are made in USA at least. It's going to storm now so yardwork is probably not in the cards today.
