Been busy and getting ready for some big doings...Getting ready for a visit tomorrow from my 91-year-old mom who I haven't seen since 2011 when I visited her on Long Island. I haven't felt this anxious since playing my first gig....OH MON DIEU !! Got my dates screwed up. She's arriving on Monday 9/30 not tomorrow....🙄😆

I am having a hard time lately. Was feeling better than ever since my surgery in February, but now I have a hiatal hernia that is acting up. At first I thought it was just stress-related and got some meds from the dr this week. But now I'm getting swelling and worse pain, so it's back to the surgeon in a couple of weeks to see what he says. In the meantime, will continue to take meds for stress, because the stress does aggravate it. Have been watching less news and trying to focus on the things I can control, but it's my nature to constantly worry about the "what-ifs" worst case scenario. Most of my news I get from the Gutter or Gutfeld! now. The comedy helps. Going to breakfast with a couple of lady friends this morning, and we are going to see Disclosure Day with our couple friends this weekend. Trying to get past this and clear my head.
