Been busy and getting ready for some big doings...Getting ready for a visit tomorrow from my 91-year-old mom who I haven't seen since 2011 when I visited her on Long Island. I haven't felt this anxious since playing my first gig....OH MON DIEU !! Got my dates screwed up. She's arriving on Monday 9/30 not tomorrow....šš

First, a huge thank you to everyone who participated! I loved reading your stories, seeing your family photos, sharing your move from California to ā¦th Carolina(loved the license plate @Nondimmable), and even being treated to an amazing rendition of āYouāre a Grand Old Flagā (looking at you, @marriedtodem! š).
It was wonderful getting to know so many of you a little better. Choosing a winner wasnāt easy, but here we go!
š„ Grand Prize Winner: @B_ellen
Brenda, your story was an absolute tearjerker. Reading about your return home from North Africa because of the war and then flying over the Statue of Liberty⦠I can only imagine how emotional that moment must have been. Congratulations! You and a guest will receive two VIP tickets to the Gutfeld! show of your choice.
š„ Runner-Up: @marriedtodem
Your heartfelt performance of āYouāre a Grand Old Flagā brought a smile to everyoneās face. Thank you for sharing your talent with all of us!
ā Bonus ...
āChiliā
This was āChiliā the red Husky.
He belonged to Uno.
He was only 6.
For some unknown reason, he became a fear biter.
If he thought you were going to grab his collar, especially if he was in his ācrateā he would snap or bite.
Otherwise he was a wonderful dog.
For some reason, I was one f his favorite humans. He would lose his mind whenever I visited.
He ābitā his third personā¦
So he had to be put down.
I will miss him terribly.
