I'm not only a traveling for work kind of guy. I'm also a tourist...
The Martin House by Frank Lloyd Wright in Buffalo New York.
The two hour tour included the history and the reconstruction phases of this amazing complex.
I have some of Frank Lloyd Wright inspired sketches I did in the early 90s with ideas of indirect lighting for kitchens and baths. Alot of wood and stained glass boxed lighting incorporated with planters.
Have a great Sunday! 😁
BUILT TO LAST by The Grateful Dead
Mark dragged down his Chewbacca from upstairs and wore his favorite mask for Halloween. No negativity surprisingly…. ! He did, however, pay a visit to the liberal house next door and repeatedly yelled, “You’re fired! You’re fired! You’re fired!” I think they actually enjoyed it.
Send help......and a storage unit. He kept the m'fer a secret. Maybe I should come home with a pair of $1000 shoes.
Congratulation to @SGKusmertz, @bek1, and @wilbner. Your questions were chosen for tonight’s Ask Joe and the Panelists.
@SGKusmertz If you could have one song play when you enter a room, what would it be?
@bek1 Do you usually feel excited or stressed out about going back to school after summer break?
@wilbner What was the best prank you’ve ever pulled?
Remember when Mom could turn a pound of hamburger, a bag of noodles, and a seasoning packet into a dinner for four? No fancy ingredients, no cooking shows, just basic home cooking.
You all remember our mom was famous for her McCormick or Lawry seasoning packet dinners. Always fond memories though. Especially spaghetti. Anytime I would come home, she would always have spaghetti simmering on the stove. The aroma was heart felt. I remember always sneaking spoonfuls of sauce before dinner.
Now it’s your turn!
Share a picture OR tell us it about a favorite childhood meal that brings back memories. Doesn’t have to be homemade or pretty! And be honest… Was it really that good or is it just a great memory of being at home at the table with the family.
One randomly selected participant will win some Gutter merch! Contest and Friday, November 6th.
Let’s see what we all grew up eating!
A stranger was seated next to Little Johnny on the plane when the stranger turned to the Little Johnny and said ...
"Let's talk. I've heard that flights will go quicker if you strike up a conversation with your fellow passenger."
Little Johnny, who had just opened his book, closed it slowly, and said to the stranger...
"What would you like to discuss?"
"Oh, I don't know how about nuclear power?"
"OK that could be an interesting topic...
But let me ask you a question first."
"A horse, a cow, and a deer all eat grass. The same stuff. Yet a deer excretes little pellets, while a cow turns out a flat patty, and a horse produces clumps of dried grass. Why do you suppose that is?"
"Jeez, I have no idea."
"Well, then," said Little Johnny, "How is it that you feel qualified to discuss nuclear power when you don't know shit?"
Evenin.
Cleaning the house with the TV off and my husband is outside. Thoughts going through my head:
1. Didn't the dems have 4 years to release the unredacted Epstein files? Why would they do it NOW? Why didn't they do it before?? Will they ever?? If they implicated Trump, the dems would have used that info years ago.
2. Trump is supposed to be on 60 Minutes tonight. I hope he doesn't make things worse (could they be?). I think he should say he's willing to work with the dems for the American people. Tell them what they want to hear. Explain the reasons for the Iran war, even though it will fall on deaf ears. Explain the dangers of the foreigners infiltrating our congress. Stay away from the name calling and rigged election conversations. We all know. You are not going to convince non-believers in a 60 Minutes interview.
I hope the time is spent wisely. They are going to pick him apart and bash him no matter what. If I were him, I'd spend my Sunday sitting in a cozy chair ...
