Too early?? Probably... This isn't my display, but one I saw in my neighborhood this morning. I guess if stores can have their Christmas displays out mid-August, and Hallmark / GFAM channels can start their Christmas movies in mid-October, then individuals can start now, too? Actually, this brings me back to the question from @Cat-head from the Friday Gutfeld!, about what gets you out of a mental funk: in a way, Christmas displays can do it (temporarily!) for me. My work commute home since 2008 was mostly a 2+ mile stretch along a busy residential street, which always had a lot of Christmas lights up in December. I could leave work in a bad mood, and by the time I got home, after seeing all those lights, I would feel better already. 😸 Of course, this isn't a 12 month long remedy, but hey, anything that can brighten up a day, even temporarily, is a plus.
Mark dragged down his Chewbacca from upstairs and wore his favorite mask for Halloween. No negativity surprisingly…. ! He did, however, pay a visit to the liberal house next door and repeatedly yelled, “You’re fired! You’re fired! You’re fired!” I think they actually enjoyed it.
Send help......and a storage unit. He kept the m'fer a secret. Maybe I should come home with a pair of $1000 shoes.
Congratulation to @SGKusmertz, @bek1, and @wilbner. Your questions were chosen for tonight’s Ask Joe and the Panelists.
@SGKusmertz If you could have one song play when you enter a room, what would it be?
@bek1 Do you usually feel excited or stressed out about going back to school after summer break?
@wilbner What was the best prank you’ve ever pulled?
Remember when Mom could turn a pound of hamburger, a bag of noodles, and a seasoning packet into a dinner for four? No fancy ingredients, no cooking shows, just basic home cooking.
You all remember our mom was famous for her McCormick or Lawry seasoning packet dinners. Always fond memories though. Especially spaghetti. Anytime I would come home, she would always have spaghetti simmering on the stove. The aroma was heart felt. I remember always sneaking spoonfuls of sauce before dinner.
Now it’s your turn!
Share a picture OR tell us it about a favorite childhood meal that brings back memories. Doesn’t have to be homemade or pretty! And be honest… Was it really that good or is it just a great memory of being at home at the table with the family.
One randomly selected participant will win some Gutter merch! Contest and Friday, November 6th.
Let’s see what we all grew up eating!
When I picked up my two nieces yesterday for the lunch outing, the first ten minutes in the car was a serious conversation. They are in their early 20s, fairly new to the workforce, and they did not vote although they are conservatives. They were unaware of the foreigners infiltrating our congress, etc. so I suggested that they start watching Newsmax or Fox to see what is truly going on. We discussed in detail about how horrible islam is to women and that they will be walking around in burkas like slaves in 20 years if they don't pay attention. We passed a small group of protestors in their town who I guess are always there (last time we passed them, I yelled "Trump 2028" out the window 😂). I said, "look at those losers, it's a beautiful, sunny Saturday and we are on our way to a nice day out and they are wasting their lives away being miserable." Then we carried on with our wonderful day.
It is up to US to keep having two-way conversations with our loved ones and friends, ...
Correct and it's by design.
This massive shift to indoctrination and absolutely no education is creating a generation of sheep. The final shift didn't happen until after Obama left office.
I believe it's being steered by the WEF and they are working hand and hand with Obama and his ilk.
I don't know how we get out of this.
No one is willing to fire the jihadi and communist professors and teachers.
