We picked up the scoot around 17:45. The Svc Mgr texted me;
“It’s all done, but it’s hard getting it into neutral. We may have to keep it another day.
“It’s always been hard to get into neutral.” I responded
“Can you get here by 18:00?”
I could and did get there by 18:00.
We rode to Bodega bay, and picked up the Camper. Ricardo, the gentleman whom let us store it in his driveway had it blocked in with a car, so that nobody could mess with it. After we were able to find him, we tried to slip him $40.00 for letting us store it there but he refused.
We made the round trip back to Walnut Creek. Reloaded the trailer, and dropped the rental car off.
We then made the hour and a half ride to Half Moon Bay.
Except the last 7 miles took over an hour. So it was more like 2 1/2 hours. On one hill, I pulled off onto a shady pull off to let the scoot cool.
Not only do Harley’s not like starting on steep hillsides, they really don’t like sitting in traffic.
It’s an ‘Air Cooled’ engine, when sitting still, there’s no ‘air’.
We sat for a half an hour, and then slid back into traffic. Once I got it to the top of the ‘mountain’, I popped it into neutral, shut it off and coasted 3 miles down the other side. Thereby letting it cool off even more.
As we pulled into Half Moon Bay, Freddy Fender singing ‘Before the last tear drop falls’ was playing on my sound system.
Which is rather loud.
All of the Hispanic folks were smiling and waving at us.
There are lots of Hispanic folks here.
Today, off to the Hearst Castle area.
We camp tonight.
Without electric.
Oh boy, oh joy.

I have bare nails. I have never been to a nail salon. When I was young I did my own nails. Then I had children and forgot about my nails.
Now I can't handle the smell of nail polish. Plus there are so many other things to spend money on, like my animals. Lol
So I guess, according to the woke, I'm a white supremacist. And to that I say, eff off. The words mean nothing to me.
