Happy birthday to Rock & Roll showman, Freddie Mercury. This was probably his best live performance. The World really misses this guy.

@bek1 Do you usually feel excited or stressed out about going back to school after summer break?
@wilbner What was the best prank you’ve ever pulled?

The first appearance of Charlie Brown!
This Day In History Oct 2 1950 - Li'l Folks 1st strip of Charlie Brown, "Li'l Folks", later "Peanuts", by Charles M. Schulz published in seven nationwide papers
Smithsonian
Good grief! Charlie Brown made his debut 76 years ago today.
When cartoonist Charles M. Schulz published his first “Peanuts” comic strip in 1950, it appeared in only seven newspapers. Fifty years later, the “Peanuts” characters were fixtures in more than 2,600 papers worldwide.
Schulz’s characters were easy to love. Audiences rallied behind the meek and gentle Charlie Brown and dreamed big with his imaginative pet dog, Snoopy. They came to expect that Linus would be glued to his security blanket and that Schroeder would be hunched over his piano. Readers even sympathized with Lucy—unapologetic confidence, infamous football prank, and all—in her unrequited infatuation for Shroeder.

Morning Gutter Gang. Big day around these parts. And not because it's a Friday and start to the weekend. And not because the Sun has actually shown itself after a week of clouds and rain. Oh no, it is the birthday of a Gutter original and friend to many here; it's GW's birthday @goodwitch . Hot damn, and a good thing I'm not keeping the birthday list--I coulda sworn G-dubs big day was a little later in the month.
So, Happy Birthday my friend and Jersey Girl. Coming up is the Arrogant Worms to provide their birthday greeting in song.
