In August of 1969, Neil Young’s 2nd studio album, Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere, peaks at 24 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart. Cinnamon Girl", "Down by the River", and "Cowgirl in the Sand" were written in a single day while Young had a 103 °F (39.5 °C) fever. "I had been sick with the flu, holed up in bed in the house. I was delirious half the time and had an odd metallic taste in my mouth. It was peculiar. At the height of this sickness, I felt pretty high in a strange way. This probably explains the brain damage that he suffers with today, but it certainly helped his songwriting ability as those three songs are the best he ever wrote, in my humble opinion.

Congratulation to @SGKusmertz, @bek1, and @wilbner. Your questions were chosen for tonight’s Ask Joe and the Panelists.
@SGKusmertz If you could have one song play when you enter a room, what would it be?
@bek1 Do you usually feel excited or stressed out about going back to school after summer break?
@wilbner What was the best prank you’ve ever pulled?
