Well, we are entering that special time of year when baseball is nearing post-season, and football is starting to ramp up. It’s what I call ‘Chore Deferment Season’, when those pesky little tasks that would interfere with an incredibly demanding sports schedule get addressed during the 15 minutes of free time left on the weekend, if at all. It’s when you switch from lawn mower to weed eater to cut the grass after weeks of growth, the vehicle has more of that ‘lived-in’ look, and you only use the word ‘sweep’ in regards to sports teams and not grabbing a broom to clean the floor.
