“The uncomfortable”

Facts of race and IQ.

The study of IQ and how it relates to genetics is a ‘Taboo’ subject.
I first read about this in a Thomas Sowel book, and then I witnessed Charles Murray vilified for writing a book about it, ‘The Bell Curve’.

Thomas Sowell liked to use the examples the gentleman in the clip uses. Chinese in SE Asia, Indians in Africa, and Jews in Europe. All of these groups were or are, on average more intelligent than the average person in those regions. They were more successful than the natives. Therefore these groups were vilified and there were Pogroms, because they ‘cheated’.

Why are they more intelligent on average? For the same reason (in my opinion) as why there is a disparity among the races.

Side note: Whites or Caucasians, on average, are in the middle of the pack. Jews (especially the Ashkenazi) have the highest average intelligence, followed by the Chinese. So none of these studies are used to infer that whites are superior. Blacks, on average have ...

The Double Eagle II finished its historic journey on August 17, 1978, landing in a field near Miserey, France (about 60 miles northwest of Paris), after flying 3,233 miles from Presque Isle, Maine, in 137 hours and 6 minutes.

Pilots: Ben Abruzzo, Maxie Anderson, and Larry Newman, all from Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Duration: 137 hours and 6 minutes in the air.

Distance: About 3,233 miles across the Atlantic Ocean.

Craft: A helium-filled balloon standing 112 feet high with a gondola named The Spirit of Albuquerque.

Historical Impact

First Success: It was the first time a balloon successfully crossed the Atlantic Ocean, following nearly 20 prior failed attempts by other adventurers. [1, 2]

Current Location: The original gondola used by the trio is preserved and kept on display at the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum.
