Nice wildlife day. Cooling down before I hop in the shower. Everything is put away. When the batteries in the mower and weed whacker are done, so am I.
That's how I pace myself so I don't mess with my back.
Anyway, looked out the back window and mama doe and two babies were in the woods. The babies' spots have almost faded.
So pretty.
Chris @GGsister2 gifted me the Giadzy sauce for my bday, so the meatballs basically made themselves. 😂 What’s something someone bought you that inspired a great meal—or a spectacular kitchen fail?

Back from my trip to VA and I have a Miles update. Our little heart warrior is still fighting and has overcome another hurdle! His breathing challenge was caused by a mild mid-tracheal stenosis resulting from his previous prolonged intubation. Thankfully, it was treated with balloon dilation, and Miles continues to fight his way forward. Thank you to everyone who has been praying for Miles and cheering him on. Please keep those prayers coming! Our little warrior still has a battle ahead, but he continues to show us just how strong he is. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️

Chicago mayoral candidate Danielle Carter-Walters lays out her first 30 days plan.
If elected in 2027, she says she will:
• End sanctuary city policies immediately
• Launch a full forensic audit of all municipal budget activities to track exactly where taxpayer money is going
• Go directly into communities to recruit qualified Chicagoans as police officers
• Create strong incentives to hire and retain officers to close the nearly 2,000-officer shortage
