In the autumn of 1609, Galileo Galilei turned one of the first telescopes toward the Moon and forever changed our understanding of the night sky.
What he saw was revolutionary.
Rather than a perfectly smooth celestial sphere—as many believed at the time—Galileo observed mountains, valleys, and craters, carefully capturing them in a series of remarkably detailed drawings. By studying the patterns of light and shadow along the Moon's terminator (the boundary between day and night), he concluded that the lunar surface was rugged and uneven.
These observations were published in Sidereus Nuncius (The Starry Messenger) in 1610 and became some of the most influential scientific illustrations in history. They challenged centuries of accepted belief and helped lay the foundation for modern astronomy.

I woke up and as I had my morning coffee, I realized that everything is about to change. No matter how I vote, no matter what I say, something evil has invaded our nation, and our lives are never going to be the same.
I have been confused by the hostility of family and friends. I look at people I have known all my life--so hate-filled that they agree with opinions they would never express as their own. I think that I may well have entered the Twilight Zone.
You can't justify this insanity. We have become a nation that has lost its collective mind!

What are we up to now? Two, three generations of worthless college degrees and a pile of debt? How many of these people ultimately realized it didn't work for them and they quietly chose reality? They are working a job they don't like and surviving. Like millions of others. Not everyone is a winner. I can't count how many people I knew, who worked so hard and either failed out of college or they found out the market was saturated for those fields of study. Legitimate college degrees. These were normal young adults. I posted before that I turned down two paid in full college opportunities. Now, at my age, I'm looking for a backup trade or skill I can utilize for when I cannot do what I'm doing. I've reinvented myself over the years, for economic reasons and the pursuit of happiness. It works.
