Morning Gutter Gang. Lazy start to this day by yours truly. But I'll kick it into gear shortly I'm sure.
I know many of us have concerns about these controls to be installed on new model vehicles in the coming year or so which will monitor the driver for, among other things, attention to the road. Folks also have concerns about being surveilled in their everyday life.
Well, now I have concern over my music listening being monitored. I have a received a couple of emails from my friends at Sirius/XM radio about my listening preferences. Son of a gun, they know what I'm listening to. First email was touting the Beatles channel as I was "a regular listener" of that channel. WHAT??!!!! It's a preset in the Terrain and I have been known to listen to it at home as well. Screw'em, who cares what they have to say. Then yesterday I received a similar note but this time they added a few more stations that I listen to regularly (Classic Vinyl and Underground Garage and the MLB game broadcasts) and ...
Caterpillar Update - Not interested, please scroll along.
This is the little caterpillar I found on the milkweed on 7/17 that probably survived 3-5 days in the "wild". Second pic is he/she is last night. It's getting close to spinning its chrysalis, so I attached some milkweed branches and leaves to the top of the container to give it some room. Hope I catch it in the process of spinning, it is amazing, I've only seen it once. If I do, I'll post a short video.
