Lights Out
Happy birthday to Richard Wright, keyboardist for Pink Floyd. Richard was responsible for creating the opening of many of the bands greatest songs.
Meddle is the sixth studio album by the English rock band Pink Floyd, released by Harvest Records on 5 November 1971 in the United Kingdom. The album was produced between the band's touring commitments, from January to August 1971 at a series of locations around London, including EMI Studios (now Abbey Road Studios) and Morgan Studios. With no material to work with and no clear idea of the album's direction, the band devised a series of novel experiments which eventually inspired the album's signature track "Echoes". Although the band's later albums would be unified by a central theme chosen by Roger Waters, and thematically consistent lyrics written entirely by Waters, Meddle was a group effort with Waters contributing primarily to the lyrics and the bass. It is considered a transitional album between the Syd Barrett-influenced group of the 1960s and the Waters-led era of the 1970s. Much of the album’s success can be attributed to Wright’s outstanding performances on “One Of These Days” and “ Echoes”. After the success of Meddle, the band never looked back until their breakup. One more thing, the band used a guest artist to sing lead on the song “Seamus”.

Watching the Five late - Jessica said Trump has said that he had no problem with the "illegals he used to hire for his hotels". Correct me if I'm wrong, but I have never, ever heard Trump say that he hired illegals to work at his hotels. This goes with her argument that they are arresting illegals who are hard working and never committed any crimes. NO, she's wrong. Breaking into our country and evading taxes by working here illegally IS a crime. Why doesn't she fricking get this?????
Evening Gutter Gang. I nearly missed a day in The Gutter. Had to drop in to share the birthday of a favorite comedian, singer and performer of mine, Stephen Lynch. He writes many funny songs with no filter. And has a good voice to boot.
I hope to hang around some this evening so the first Lynch tune is "Grandfather" a very different look at an elderly grampa. And funny
