I gave a little thought recently to why the amplified vitriol towards Trump from the left and it's really simple
Trump used to be one of them in their minds they owned him as they do all the celeb types
Since he turned on them the hate meter spiked and now there is no punishment too severe
Hate is their natural state they like it that way
