I was thinking today how the biggest problem with people who just follow along with either side politically and parrot what they hear is their inability to take the time to do research.
My nephew and step daughter will just parrot what they heard about any given bill the government passes. While I won’t believe what is said about any bill so I read them. it is also helpful when people have a question, like my mothers fear her friend might lose her Medicaid, I was able to read a section of the bill in question and ease her mind.
People protest but they don’t question things any longer. Rant is done. Here is a song
Thunderstorm and rain today. Our power went off about 45 minutes ago, so no cooking unless hubby wants to grill with an umbrella. We won't starve, we have lunch meat for Greg and peanut butter for me.
My shoulder is really hurting today - probably because of the rain. May need more lidocaine before long. The good news is that my new office chair arrived. Hubby is putting it together as I type.
