Egg found the other day still has not hatched. However, today I found a tiny caterpillar on the milkweed! He has probably survived about 5 days in the wild. Brought him in, and let's hope he/she makes it!

Well, it's hard to believe that it has been four years since we lost our wonderful sister, Ann Hamlet, aka Holly Vassur, who passed on from this Earth in her sleep at a very young age. Still today, I think of her all the time and I can imagine how she would react and respond to this world and all its changes since last we spoke with her.
In Ann's honor I am posting one of her posts here - please join us in reply to it, and share a memory or two of our dear friend who I like to imagine running the kitchen in Heaven and cooking for the Creator and all the angels too.
We miss you still, dear Holly Ann - praying that you are resting in peace.

His wedding happens to be on the same day!
The ticket was bought a long time ago before the date was set.
