@GGsister1 and my Gutter family:
As I periodically do, I recently took a hiatus from the news. When things get a little difficult for me around here I tend to drop off from things that are upsetting, and the news can become a little much at times. And so, when venturing back into the news tornado, I was hit with the stories of the 16 nearly feral children discovered in Ohio and the California pet rescue that was executing dogs after accepting grants and money as a no kill rescue. My heart is broken not just for those kids, not just for slain innocent animals but for this world. I am not entirely certain how people can behave in a way that allows them to treat children and animals with such little regard for their lives, nor am I certain how such evil can just take someone over. I know that we’re given a choice in this life as far as how we conduct ourselves. And I think I’m glad that I can neither process, nor wrap my head around how those people think. For if I could understand it, it might be able to creep into my way of thinking. I guess I just wanna encourage you all to reject this kind of thing in terms of holding those accountable who have conducted themselves so abominably particularly where it concerns innocent lives. I know I have a certain level of frustration over the things people get away with, from politicians, to just the average citizen. In so many cases accountability seems to be something that’s been lost. And so I will try to stay on the side of good, not being a perfect person because no one is, I’ll just do my best. I’ll pray for those who are being put upon in the way that these animals and children were and also that they’re discovered and rescued. I hope you will hold a good thought or pray along with me— if we don’t fight the evil now it’s going to take over.
Congratulations to @KentC. Your question was chosen for tonight’s Ask Greg and the Panelists.
@kenyC. Who was your biggest tv/movie crush? Did you ever meet them?
