“… I'm sorry to say it's been a case of one step forward, two steps back for me. I truly thought I was done when I last appeared on The Gutter.
….The infections just kept coming…. and I've been cooped up in a pressurised oxygen-rich room ever since.
….. My spare bedroom looks like something out of Star Trek, and I only get to leave it (as now) when the MacMillan Nurses come to clean and move things about, then begin prodding and poking me.
…. Fortunately, I've been able to keep up with the World Cup. The USA have been impressive, but I think it is unlikely they'll beat Belgium - though I hope they do.
…. I'll be back - but can't really say when.
…. and I hope everybody at The Gutter is well - if you wouldn't mind passing that message on.

I voted for Trump three times. I know you're shocked.
But I don't believe Trump has been perfect.
I think the only way to deal with Iran is to bomb them into submission - figuratively and literally. They must beg to come to the negotiating table with 0 demands and willing to sign anything in order for the bombs to cease.
I understand that there is (much) more to the situation that has to be taken into account - the people of Iran for starters.
But the (remaining) regime needs to be reminded who's boss. And a poke in the shoulder to us with this funeral deserves a retaliatory poke in their eye.
