The Left needs to brainwash you (not you, per se, but as many as possible) into hating the country so they can more easily overthrow it. It's easier to sell overthrowing an evil country than it is a righteous charitable country.
But HOW they brainwash you is carefully orchestrated. It doesn't matter to them WHY you hate, only that you DO (eventually) hate.
