I don't comment on news of the day very often but sometimes I can't help it.
I grew up in the D.C. area. I went to high school in Herndon, Va. (class of '74) I've been to the reflecting pool many times. 1976 comes to mind. The thing has always been a shit hole. It's about 18 inches deep. The water is stagnant. There was trash, broken glass, and lots of green slime in it. The smell was not pleasant.
President Trump has his work cut out for him if he thinks he can clean that shit up. I'm pretty sure he doesn't understand the problem.

After a few weeks of construction chaos, I finally actually got to cook in my kitchen. Almost 100% back in business. Our first cooked meal is just a simple, homemade garlic red sauce accompanied with the salad and garlic bread. It’s going to be Tums night.
