THE GREAT FORGETTING

Calling someone a monster is classic self-exposure. It takes one to know one and what do you do when the soulless one between the feuding two is you? The repetition of a now embarrassingly trite self parody. Mamdani as prophet and prophecy shame will come when it is due.

This is what makes us useful as a tool, (no matter what you believe about those of us still threaded into the magnificent tapestry of history,) the exceptions that prove the rule. We ended up in paradise and that is not usually true.

It's been us many times, the ones that were wrong in the conflict, but we never used this particular tactic of gutless ruthless BRAZEN shamelessness because we have souls still and consciences and people like us just don't do that.

We are, however, in the minority of a dwindling microcosm of disenfranchised energy as yet untouched by The Great Forgetting. A society of sociopathy. Of teachers from the Twilight Zone. Of attractive jackals and the fools who think they have control of those bred to BE betrayers. The chaos of empathy ... a tasteless ragged irony.

I give you the winners of the battle with God, who believe they did it all with glitter. The alliance with the Devil outsmarted the author of the seminal ART OF THE DEAL and won the war with glitter. Because they had to.

What are we to do with this precious memory, that which so elegantly inspires and empowers every casual act of nobility we pursue? We shall see the merit and reaping of longevity ... we know from whence it comes, the truth, I mean. Amen.
