✨people will call me tree hugger- I don’t care. We have lost SO many trees in our city subject to the “Canopy preservation “ campaign. Which entails the assessment, trimming and removal of some of our city’s showcase trees. All vegetation 33 ft from the center line in the road is fair game. This morning we woke up to the chainsaws blasting out our window. Our neighbors tree is coming down. This tree is huge and has been my favorite for the last 20years. Makes me sad to my core. Between the Ford plant, solar fields and the soon to be Data center- I don’t know what canopy they are speaking of- it’s leaving us faster than being replaced 😿✨
