With Colbert gone, I agree with this post. The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. It was goofy and stupid and funny. Politics present, but always in a light hearted way.
The problem is there is so many things to watch. When Carson was on, there were basically 3 networks...you had 3 choices, then came cable and the choices increased and now streaming and since you get to choose...the choices are infinite.
I has gotten down to niche marketing for everything. You are never going to get numbers like Carson, or even Letterman for that matter.
