Today in 1986, Peter Gabriel released his fifth studio album, “So”. Co-produced by Gabriel and Canadian super producer Daniel Lanois, So is Gabriel’s most commercially successful album, and it catapulted the former Genesis frontman into the global spotlight as a solo artist. The album’s lead single, “Sledgehammer,” was accompanied by a captivating, animated music video that went on to win nine MTV Video Music Awards. Other singles from So include "Don't Give Up" (featuring Kate Bush), "Big Time," "In Your Eyes," and "Red Rain." “So” has long been recognized as one of the best albums of the 1980s on multiple publications’ best-of lists.

Also - a stork nest livecam from Bad Sulzungen Germany I happened upon a few weeks ago - 5 hatched - but only 4 remain - the parent stork tossed a tiny sick one from the nest a couple weeks ago - 3 larger and 1 tiny storkling remain (the tiny one was hatched like 4 days after the 3 big ones
