Further to my earlier post on the Unite the Kingdom mass march and rally in London today, the "robust" policing has already kicked in. People, including some Americans, have been stopped at the airports, and quite ordinary people are being met by what they're calling "aggressive policing" as they arrive at London rail and tube stations.
The "robust policing promised by Keir Starmer and his Home Secretary, Shabana Mahmood, includes the deployment of thousands of riot police and military vehicles. People are being stopped and herded (contained as the police call it) away so that they won't be able to make the march.

Good moaning, friends across the water. I greet you well.
A quickie, as I'm only allowed out of my germ-free sick room for very short periods.
Today there is another Unite the Kingdom march and rally in London.
And all those middle-class degree-waving liberals are appalled. The white working-class they so heartily despise is making its voice heard.
The last such march, last summer, which attracted up to 500,000, was a long overdue shock to the liberal system.
This time they're ready.
The number of things marchers can be arrested for has been expanded, and the Metropolitan Plod has been told to police "robustly" - and we all know what "robustly" means. It means look for reasons to go in, and go in hard. Do everything you can to provoke the marchers and arrest as many as possible.
These are the same tactics used against an organisation I was associated with back in the 70s. They worked back then because there was no social media. Not so much now - which is exactly why the government is ...
