Quick update on our Lake Guntersville trip this year.
Qualify has been down from what we’re used to but numbers are up.

Not much here, a proverbial wide spot in the road.
We are 19 miles west of ‘Three Forks’. Which is located at the ‘Head waters’ of the Mighty Missouri. It’s called three forks because the Jefferson, the Madison, and Gallatin rivers combine together to make the Missouri River.
Lewis and Clark followed the Jefferson River.
We had supper at a local steakhouse, located about two miles from our campsite. It was surprisingly busy for a Sunday, in the middle of nowhere.

2. A pretty little valley next to the restaurant where we supped. A bend of The Jefferson River can be seen with cattle grazing on the other side. It’s a narrow valley, where Lewis and Clark camped and traveled through on their journey west.
I've traveled home for my sister's funeral💔😞
My younger sister Lori, passed away on Tuesday.
Back in December she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. She started treatment immediately. Good doctors, support, great friends and family.
Treatment was going well with an 85% survival..
Then the unmanageable. Late one night about a month ago,she fell in her room. Hit the wall awkwardly. She suffered a cervical spine fracture. Paralyzed from the neck down.
She spent a week in the hospital the was sent to a rehab center.
She was dealt something I can't imagine.
Lori was full of life. retired art teacher. Never sick, so active, and 3 new grandbabies that she loved dearly.
Lori was a strong Christian with solid beliefs, but she didn't want to live this kind of life.
Last Tuesday morning Lori didn't wake up. She died at the hospital.
I'm heartbroken.
Part of me is relieved, but this is so unfair . I am having a hard time accepting
Kristin, Stetson and Maxwell stayed in KDH and are well
