Jessica T returned from a brief vacation but was startled the next morning as she gazed in the mirror and noticed that her brown eyes had turned to a pale gray. She immediately went to her doctor who drew some blood, ran some tests and stepped out of the exam room, telling Jessica that he thought that he knew of a cure. The doctor returned with a beaker of brown liquid and told Jessica to drink it and that it should bring her brown eye color back. Jessica struggled to down the medicine but, at the doctor's prompts, drank it all. "There, now you look better, Jessica" the doctor announced, sending her to a nearby mirror to check her eye color. Amazingly her brown eyes had returned and she thanked the doctor, noting though "that stuff smelled terrible and frankly tasted like shit, so what was it?" "That's exactly what it was, Jessica. You were just a quart low..." the doctor explained.
