I wish. Oh do I wish.
I wish this home here was ready for sale.
I wish I was just a bit younger so I could have more energy.
I ask God every night what his hopes are for me.
Keep this home? Keep fixing up and then when I die, the boys will have a decent inheritance.
Move to Florida to be closer to my brother so we can help each other as we get older (doctor appointments, etc.)
Moving out closer to the grandkids isn't necessarily an option. Word on the family corner is that my youngest said to my older son, "Now it's your turn to take care of mom."
Mind you, I never asked or expected help. He lived here for a few years before and after his 5 years in the Marines. I didn't ask for financial help. I simply asked him to keep the garage clean and mow the lawn. I thought it was a fair deal. He did have to take me to the hospital for a colonoscopy, herniated disc and shoulder replacement. Had someone been here, like the ex hubby, I would have asked him. I had no choice. Hell, I've put off getting my cataracs removed because I don't want to ask anyone to take me.
So moving out there is not an option.
Damn, I wish I could be more decisive about this. This isn't like me.
Anyway, still a bit too expensive but definitely a dream home for me.
