On a more positive note, one of my friends lost her dog last month to a horrific attack by 3 big dogs that barged through her yard's gate while she was in her own yard with her little dog. She has been traumatized since and I have been very worried about how she was going to get over this. However, today she adopted a new little dog, he's 7 years old and blind in one eye. His owner was elderly and had to go into a home. She stopped by a few minutes ago on her way home from the adoption and I met him. He is cute and needs a little fattening up, it seems to be a good match already. You cannot believe how full my heart is right now that she is so happy. I pray it all goes well for her. 🙏
