Uggh ... hate this wind. We lost another gutter downspout (4th time in the past year). No matter how tightly we screw it down, hours of 35mph+ winds just blast it away. 😞

Wind and hail damage can get expensive. At least the roof is still in tact. 😉

First time in 50 years - the US will build a new refinery. It will be located in Brownsville, TX.

From the America First Refining press release (Mar 10 2026):
The refinery is specifically engineered to process American light shale oil (47° API), which is cleaner, more efficient, and less costly to process than heavier imported crude. Unlike many existing U.S. refineries that depend on foreign oil, this facility is not dependent on – and does not need – imported crude, which strengthens U.S. national and economic security.
Key advantages of the facility include:

• Capacity up to ~60 million barrels per year
• Strategic location for distribution to US and international markets
• Production of some of the cleanest gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel refined in the US

And right up the road is Star Base, Musk's thriving Spacex city!
