** Wrote this in 2023. I thought it was about me but I think now, looking back on it, it was about the country:
SNAP
One day in my exhausting, unrelentingly productive, artistically-fulfilling; and complicated BUT wildly successful life I suffered a completely unanticipated (not just by me but every horrified person I knew or who knew of me) nervous breakdown. A demonic seizure that left behind a lot of awards and standing ovations and Certificates of Graduation ... walked right out of the door of accumulated accomplishment for the last time … no looking back ... into the blinding light of The Nothing ... across the line.
SNAP ... choice was not involved, the only option I had was an afterlife of falling out of control ... so ironic for a man known to be the rock everyone counted on for stability and clever resolution of seemingly un-solvable Gordian Knots. Aloof but accessible and always in the background at all hours pulling strings and inspiring shared excellence. A Martyr who never died.
Son, brother, uncle; lover; and best friend ... always the best-intended at all of these things and definitely the one you wanted in your corner UNLESS you crossed me ... but that very rarely happened until suddenly one summer came an ordinary day ... and then we ALL crossed that line in stunned unison. What just happened? Pigs are flying, the world is flat. I had that much personal power.
Blindsided yes, the destruction was nuclear, but it's not like it mattered to me ... I was free ... there was nothing left of me to lose ... I was daring death to take me, bored with the half-assed seduction, waking up was always the worst part ... cursed with another day of living the death of the opposite of me ... ME ME ME ... the Equity of Narcissism was obviously not lost on ... me.
Everyone on the streets has a story like this ... the question is: who is listening?

She also found a penny and some olive green sea glass and oyster shells to carry them home in. two green seahorses and two of another species she hasn't identified yet. it was a lucky day for her.
TODAY IS MY 2 yr ANNIVERSARY of MY ADOPTION into This AMAZING GUTTER FAMILY 🤗 I found you thanks to my late but fav Uncle Joe. Up to that point...I never even used to text much less " post" anything. I was given a warm welcome by Mr. Conner ( as I call him) He said welcome, gave me a few lessons, & sarcastically busted chops😂 Since then....many of you have kept this Finnster in line...🤐 Ive been replied to " So whats your point? 🤨" 🥺only answer was 😫 "I don't know, I havent slept in 36 hrs" 🤣 I was forgiven.
