Some Painkilling History -
On March 6, 1899, the German chemical company Bayer registered "Aspirin" (acetylsalicylic acid) as a trademark in Berlin, marking its introduction as a, new pain relief product. Chemist Felix Hoffmann, working for Bayer, successfully synthesized this stable form of the compound on August 10, 1897, to aid his father's rheumatism.

Although Hoffmann is credited with the first stable synthesis, historical debate suggests other Bayer chemists, such as Arthur Eichengrün, may have played a key role in its development
Congratulations to @steve-allen. Your question was chosen for tonight’s Ask Greg and the Panelists.
@Steve-allen. What movie would you have been a great actor in ?
Congratulations to @APalm and @derrickhhurd. Your questions were chosen for tonight’s Ask Greg and the Panelists. Well, that was fun. We got a chorus.
@apalm As a kid, what luxury item did you dream about buying some day?
@derrickhhurd What is the last thing you would be willing to give up if you had to?
Its Friday! God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the ammo to change the things I can, and the AI searches to know the difference. My dad used to say Wish in one hand and Shit in the other, then throw the shit at a Muslim Democrat. Okay maybe that wasn't quite what he said.
Here's a great Doobie Brothers song.
