Kristin made me this wonderful clock for my office for Valentine's Day. Wright Bros Memorial button at 12, the Hatteras Lighthouse at 1, driftwood at 2. A 3 shaped fulgurite she found, 4 shark teeth at 4, a starfish at 5, part of a local shipwreck at 6, a plastic hermit crab at 7, lost colony pottery shards at 8, brown sea glass at 9, two fulgurites shaped like a 10, and a scallop shell. most of this she found. i absolutely love it. She likes to make things with local beach finds and we found some of these together. i absolutely love this gift.

I understand how people like to claim success over an immediate change in circumstances after one of their policies has been implemented. Although I understand it, I attribute this behavior to people at the lower end of the IQ scale. It takes a length of time after a new policy is implemented before it has any significant effect on our economy or our society. For example: crime has been dropping since the turn of the century, not because of any policies implemented by either major political party but because of technology and the ability of police departments to learn how to use technology to their advantage. With the exception of the blip caused by the 2020 insurrections and the horrible federal government over the next four years, the 25-year reduction in crime is caused by nothing more than increased use of technology.
For example: 15 years ago very few people had Ring cameras. Today, one out of three homes...
