Pretti was armed to the teeth when he went to obstruct federal agents, and because of that, they have every right to think his intentions were shoot and kill.

The officer saw a gun , then a second later it was unholstered , he made a split second decision . A reasonable officer would believe the offender had possession of that weapon . Add into the mix dozens of whistles , car horns blaring and people yelling . Even if the officer that disarmed him stated he did so , that may not have been heard by the officer . The blame goes first to the offender , he made a conscious decision to go there armed , confront officers , impede officers ,not comply to lawful orders and resist . Secondly to the other agitators involved by their interference . Third, the politicians of Minnesota that foment and encourage their behavior . Had they only assisted the federal agents , none of this would have occurred .
