The UNOFFICIAL word on the street is that the ICE agents, NatGuard, and Army will carry non-lethal bullets. Every tenth man has the real deal for self defense or to take out a shooter on the "other side". The M4 carbines shoot blanks, and the Glock 19 sidearms have a dirty magazine (🤔) filled with permanent ink bullets seasoned with a generous serving of salt and pepper. They only have a small charge for close-in firing for minimum damage but maximum discomfort. They also carry grenade canisters with a knockout nerve gas. Those on the receiving end will be out for ten minutes and wake up with a whale of a headache and colon-cleansing diarrhea. It is all about crowd control, no offENSE intended.
